IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

The permit fee must be paid at the Town Office within one (1) week of submitting this application.
Additional information may be requested by the Town at any time during the review process.
If this application must be referred to provincial or federal departments or agencies, the applicant is responsible for initiating and completing those referrals. The Town will advise the applicant of any required referrals.
Council will approve, refuse, or grant outline planning permission (approval-in-principle) within eight (8) weeks of receiving a complete application, unless an extension is agreed upon.
Approval will not be granted if the proposed development does not conform to the Town of Old Perlican’s Municipal Plan and Development Regulations.
Private water and/or sewer system will require approval from government services before council issues a permit. Approved list is available by calling (709) 729-3529 or (709) 945-3106.

8. Please submit a property survey with this application, or a detailed sketch of the proposed development layout. The submission must show property boundaries, the location of the site in relation to nearby public roads, and the position of any buildings to be constructed. Include the dimensions of the proposed building(s) and the distance from the public road. Additional or more detailed plans and/or architectural drawings may be required. Failure to provide sufficient information may result in delays in processing your application.

If the land is Crown Land or land of which I am not the sole owner, I acknowledge that Town approval does not remove the requirement to obtain permission from the Department of Environment and Lands and/or any other landowners or governing authorities.

I understand that I am responsible for obtaining all required permits, approvals, and referrals from other government departments or agencies, and for providing confirmation of such approvals to the Town.
