July 1, 2015 | On July 1st at 11:00 am members of the Old Perlican Heritage Committee, Cadets and Officers from RCSCC 295 Baccalieu,
Mayor and Councilors, members of the clergy, Legion representative and various members of the community gathered
at the United Church Cemetery to pay respect to the veterans buried there. A cross bearing either a Union Jack Flag or Maple Leaf Flag was placed on each verteans grave.

War Memorial - A Tribute To Our Veterans | The War Memorial - surrounded by flags of all provinces and territories of Canada, is a tribute to our Old Perlican Veterans who contributed and sacrificed during the Boat War, the First World War, and the Second World War.
This is the scene of Old Perlican's Annual Remembrance Day ceremonies. The adjacent park and boardwalks are a popular tourism attraction.

Old Perlican Memorial Park | Some years ago, local residents donated property in the centre of town for the development of a Memorial Park to honour the many residents who left Old Perlican to serve in world wars.
A room in the Beckett Heritage Home is reserved as a veterans gallery for some collected artifacts.
Our heritage as a fishing community is proudly heralded through the efforts of the Old Perlican Heritage Committee.
